Pictured above is Officer Tim Woods, an Indiana State Police Officer with his family companion, Elsie. Elsie is not only his pet or family companion but also his family's protector. Officer Woods had been searching for his next German Shepherd and he liked what he saw at my kennel so purchased Elsie. Elsie was a very special pup to me as a breeder because she had her leg broken at just a few days old from her mom accidentally stepping on her. Elsie was a very healthy pup so there was no reason to put her down because of that situation so I had the vet cast her leg until it completely healed. She had to have it recasted three times due to her growing and the cast needed to grow with her. She received a clean bill of health and you couldn't even tell this had happened to her by the way she walked, it was wonderful! When Officer Woods came to my home and I showed him the pups he immediately fell in love with Elsie. Despite her past history and since she didn't show any current problems and had been cleared by the vet he decided he couldn't leave without her.
I offered a guarantee of her leg in addition to my normal hips and elbows guarantee that I carry for all my pups which made him happy as well. Officer Woods has been very happy with his dog Elsie and appreciated the way I handled my business so he knew he should bring his daughter back to me for a pup. I explained to them how I had drastically changed my kennel to all German lines (except for my daughter's dog Storm) because I was striving to improve my kennel so there was a price difference from my past American lines to the lines I currently have. They were perfectly fine with having to pay more for their second pup from me because they already had experience with me and knew I was running a reputable business. They understood that good breeders make changes to try and improve in any way they can and I have done just that. Officer Woods was happy to bring his daughter, Sabrina Tenbarge, to me for her family pet, companion, and protector.
Officer Tim Woods has also stated he would be more than happy to speak to anyone who might be interested in purchasing a pup but would like to speak with a reference before making a final decision. Directly below is Macie von Schmidthof owned by Mr. & Mrs. Tenbarge and family. Macie was purchased because of how happy Tim Woods was with his dog Elsie.

Chancellor von Schmidthof is from another past breeding I have done. Chancellor is a gorgeous boy owned and dearly loved by Sue Hornbeck. Chance has a gorgeous coat, nice structure, and a wonderful temperament! :)
